Fate of Former Sayville Plumbing Site Remains Up in the Air
No definite proposal in sight regarding Bayport parcel for sale.
The Bayport land where the former Sayville Plumbing business once operated remains for sale as one interested developer continues to mull over whether to move forward on a condominium proposal.
According to Islip Town Planning officials no application for any project related to the Montauk Highway/McConnell Avenue plot, between McConnell and Oakwood Avenues, had been filed as of last week.
This week developer Jim Tsunis, of the Northwind Group, a residential builder, told Patch he remains undecided whether to move forward on a condo development.

At last week's Bayport Civic Association meeting Bob Draffin, president, stated Tsunis indicated he may attend the group's November meeting to talk about his potential project.
Tsunis told Patch he had been in touch with the civic but attendance would be predicated on whether he decides to move forward with a proposal.
