Flourish Grows With Addition of Gabby's Closet

With an expanded storefront and now even more to offer, celebrated the grand opening of Gabby’s Closet on April 16.

Back in November, from a smaller store to the former home of Fireflies. Now that there’s more space and more business to be had, Flourish decided to add to its offerings by bringing a unique clothing line, including shoes and accessories.

The store’s new logo: We can tuck you in…We can dress you up. “With the addition of Gabby’s Closet, we now have two great stores in one door,” said Tina Dougherty, co-owner, who named the store after her daughter Gabby.  “There is a great selection of many one-of-a-kind pieces from New York City, all of which I handpick myself.”

Dougherty described the clothing as trendy, nautical and classical with an updated twist. The designs definitely appeal to a wide range of customers. Designers include names such as Yoana Baraschi, Ecru and Analil from South Beach.

“We wanted to make this into a total shopping experience,” Dougherty added, which is why they offer champagne for their customers and couches to relax on. The boutique-style clothing is also offered an affordable price point. There are cocktail dresses, casual and dressy looks and also trendy tops if you are just looking for an eye-catching shirt for a Friday night on the town.

“We offer full service shopping and we also do personal shopping,” Dougherty said. “We have new items coming in every single week, so there’s sure to be something for everyone’s taste."

Co-owner Jennifer Gross wants customers to understand how the store has changed. “We are now a full-service woman’s boutique,” she said. “There’s just this great energy now about the store. From sleepwear to lingerie to body products, perfumes and now clothing, we have it all.”  She said they had a nice crowd stopping by for the grand opening celebration, thanks to an e-mail blast and some local advertising.

Flourish has also added new and expanded collections for babies, including many unique gift ideas. Also on the horizon, look for a men’s loungewear section of the store.
