Former Teacher Pleads 'Not Guilty' To Giving Student Alcohol: DA
Jason Ferremi, a former Sayville teacher, pleaded not guilty to inviting a male student into his home and giving him alcohol, DA says.

SAYVILLE, NY — A former Sayville Middle school teacher — who was arrested and charged earlier this month after police said he provided alcohol to a student — pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney confirmed.
Jason Ferremi, 36, was charged on March 4 with endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He was arraigned in court in Central Islip on Thursday, by Judge Jonathan Bloom.
After an extensive investigation, police said that in December 2020, Ferremi invited a 16-year-old male student into his Sayville home and gave him alcohol.
