Islip Makes it Easy to Get Rid of E-Waste
Lincoln Avenue facility accepts old computers, other electronic products.

The Town of Islip is now collecting electronic waste (E-Waste) curbside on the last Wednesday of each month at no cost to residents.
The town's multi-purpose recycling facility, on Lincoln Avenue, is also open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., is equipped to handle any old computers, TVs, printers, and other electronic goods that residents no longer want.
Town officials say recycling e-waste helps conserve resources, prevents toxins from entering the environment, and saves taxpayer dollars.
