Islip Taps Sayville Firm as Land Counsel for Heartland Project
New town officials switch out former lawyer for more local connection.
The firm of Eugene L. De Nicola, a land use attorney based in Sayville, has been chosen as land counsel for the Town of Islip's Heartland Town Square development.
According to a Newsday report, the decision was made as the prior attorney of record was based in Garden City and Town of Islip officials wanted a more local firm familiar with the area and community.
