James Wilson Young Middle Schoolers Make Valentines For Veterans

This project was done in partnership with New York State Assemblyman Jarrett Gandolfo.

As a way to show appreciation for their service, sixth graders at James Wilson Young Middle School recently created heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards for both veterans and active U.S. military troops stationed domestically and overseas.

As a way to show appreciation for their service, sixth graders at James Wilson Young Middle School recently created heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards for both veterans and active U.S. military troops stationed domestically and overseas. This project was done in partnership with New York State Assemblyman Jarrett Gandolfo, who then visited the school to pick up the students’ cards for distribution. Bayport-Blue Point School District commends its students for honoring the servicemen and women and thanks Assemblyman Gandolfo for collaborating on this meaningful initiative.
