Kady Brownell Tent #36 DUVCW Seeks New Members

Ladies who have Civil War Ancestry are invited to apply.

Members of Kady Brownell Tent #36 DUVCW had the pleasure visiting the wonderful 7th Annual Civil War Weekend, hosted by the 67th New York Volunteer Infantry, at Islip Grange on Sunday, September 20th, 2015. Pictured are tent officers and prospective members shortly after having watched the 1 p.m. battle reenactment.

Ladies who join Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861 - 1865, are direct descendants of Union soldiers or sailors who were honorably discharged from or gave their lives in service to our nation during the American Civil War. Some of the other activities that tent members enjoy together include historical exhibits, commemoration ceremonies, and bringing good cheer to veterans during the holiday season. The tent is an inclusive and diverse group that enthusiastically welcomes new members.

If you are a lady with Civil War ancestry, Kady Brownell Tent #36 DUVCW wants to hear from you! Please contact KadyBrownellTent36DUVCW1@gmail.com or visit http://www.NYDUVCW.org for more information about Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861—1865. We hope you’ll be in touch!
