LI Business Launches Giveaway To Give Couple Dream Wedding Venue
One engaged couple working on the frontlines during the coronavirus crisis will get the chance to win a luxury wedding venue.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A local Long Island business is looking to provide a memorable wedding for one couple working on the frontlines during the coronavirus crisis. New York Tent, based in Bohemia, recently launched a giveaway to provide one couple with a dream wedding venue large enough to accommodate 175 guests.
Any Long Island couple who is currently be engaged and planning to get married on or before Dec. 31, 2021 can apply to enter the contest online. At least one partner from the couple must work as a healthcare hero in New York and live on Long Island (Nassau or Suffolk County). That may include doctors, nurses, support staff and anyone else who works in healthcare during pandemic.

"We’d like to show our appreciation and gratitude to all our Healthcare Heroes currently on the frontlines of COVID-19," a message on New York Tent's website reads. "We appreciate your dedication and selflessness for others while we stay safe at home."

All applications must be submitted by June 15. In addition to the application, each couple is required to film a video no more than 3 minutes long and mustt include:
- Your love story
- The role you played working on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Include what winning this giveaway would mean to you.
- The video can be posted to Youtube/Vimeo - Link to video must be inserted in application form.

Applicants must also Follow NY Tent on Instagram and post their favorite photo as a couple with the tag @nytent and hashtag #healthcareheroweddinggiveaway. The business will post the top three applicant videos on its website on June 16 to allow the general public to have the opportunity to select the winner. The voting period will end on June 21 and the winner will be announced on June 24.

Winner will be notified via email first, followed by phone. If winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the runner up will be selected as the new winner.
