Man Charged With Robbing Suffolk County Bank

A 20-year-old Oakdale man is accused of robbing a North Patchogue bank earlier this month.

Jonathan Forberg was arrested in Tuesday and charged with third degree robbery.

According to police, Forberg entered the Chase bank located at 472 Route 112, at 8:32 a.m. on July and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and Forberg fled on foot westbound on Harris Street.

Forberg was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
