The library will host a special presentation on Monday, October 26 from 7:00-8:30pm. Local author Rose Marie Dunphy discusses her novel and the dilemma of her protagonist Marietta who remains haunted by questions of her childhood in Italy and the realization that in order to be free, she must discover the truth about her family life, even at the risk of losing them. Dunphy also discusses her Italian-childhood-inspired cookbook The Scent of Italian Cooking full of recipes handed down from her mother and grandmother.
