
Police have released surveillance photos of a man who robbed a bank in Sayville on Thursday.
According to police, he entered the TD Bank located at 188 North Main St. around 4:20 p.m. and passed the teller a note that demanded money.
The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The robber then fled the bank on foot and was last seen heading east on Main Street.

The robber was described as white, between 25 and 30-years-old, around 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He had a mustache and beard and was wearing a gray jacket with dark sleeves and a gray knit cap.
Police are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
