Sayville Ford Fundraiser To Benefit High School
Dealership will donate $20 for every test drive taken on Saturday between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
, along with Ford Motor Company, will be helping Sayville High School's freshman class raise some funds to support extra-curricular activities at the high school.
For every test drive that is taken this Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Ford will donate $20, with a maximum donation of $6,000. In addition to the donation to the school, Sayville Ford will be giving away a Gateway LT20 Netbook for one lucky event attendee.
"Ford Motor Company recognizes that school budgets are tight and that schools are looking for new ways to raise money for extra-curricular activities," a statement from Sayville Ford said. "Ford's Give One 4 UR School Program helps local dealers connect with the community."

provides the facilities, Ford vehicles, staff, food, music as well as special offers and prizes to attendees. The Sayville freshman will assist with test drive regulations, Ford Sync demonstrations and the barbeque as well as provide plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
"Sayville Ford has been exceptionally cooperative," said Doug Shaw from Sayville High School. "They are great working with the kids, and really supportive of our efforts."

According to Shaw, last year the event raised almost $10,000, which was used to support the senior class and several other student organizations.
