Sayville Man Arrested After Robbery: Police

A 52-year-old Sayville man was arrested Wednesday and charged in a robbery that occurred in Sayville last week, police said.

According to police, John Eleazer knocked a man to the ground at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue around 3 p.m. on July 7. Eleazer then stole the man's watch, police said.

Eleazer is charged with third degree robbery. He was arraigned on Wednesday and is being held on $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond.
