COVID-19 Vaccine Information

• 1,184,550 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,195.
• 1,063,479 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 1,243.
• 80% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose.
• 92.6% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose.
• 71.8% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
• 2% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 5% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 8.0% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose.

• Vaccination rates by zip code.
• Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms. • 6,752,177 total tests have been administered since March 2020.
• 1,559 new cases were reported.
• 105.3 cases per 100k; 181.7 on a 7-day average.
• 402,658 total cases have been reported since March 2020.
• 13.9% tested positive in Suffolk County; 17.5% positive on a 7-day average.
• 13.4% tested positive on Long Island; 16.7% positive on a 7-day average.

Fatalities, Suffolk County, January 18, 2022

• 15 fatalities:
• fatalities since March 2020

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, January 18, 2022

• 949 individuals were hospitalized, an decrease of 17 in 24 hours.
• 97 were new admissions.
• 138 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 7 in 24 hours.
• 83 patients were in the ICU and intubated.
• 106 were discharged since the last report.
• 20,949 have been discharged since March 22, 2020.
