Talk Back: What Should be Done With the Sayville Courthouse?

It's not for sale but the town doesn't have money to fix it up.

This week Patch reported that the Sayville Courthouse building on Railroad Avenue is just getting into greater disrepair and the Town of Islip, which owns it, does not have funds to do needed renovation and updating.

Despite rumours heard in the past weeks, the building is not up for sale and the Islip Town Board hasn't made any decision regarding its future.

Patch would love to hear what readers would like done with the building. Take our poll and comment below and we'll share feedback next week.
