
Thursday is July 11, and 7-Eleven is once again celebrating 7/11 with free Slurpees.
This year, however, patrons picking up a free frozen drink at their local 7-Eleven will be treated to a larger size.
According to a report in USA Today, the nation’s largest convenience store chain is replacing its 7.11-ounce freebee given away in past years with a 12-ounce Slurpee.

Laura Gordon, vice president of marketing and brand innovation for 7-Eleven, estimated about 7 million Slurpees will be given away on Thursday at a total cost of $7.6 million.
The larger Slurpee size is being used in response to feedback from mothers, who asked for cups with lids.

Montauk Highway, Bayport (west of Sylvan Avenue)
Montauk Highway, West Sayville
Sunrise Highway, Sayville (west of Sayville Bowling lanes)
