What makes your store a unique visit in Sayville… This love of history translates into my hunting for small pieces to mix into the commercial merchandise. My husband will patiently attend auctions with me to be the muscles to carry treasures to the car! He also pitches in at Christmas to be an extra "elf," helping customers. My shop girls are very caring and knowledgeable. We use beautiful ribbon on our gifts.

In 10 years, Sayville will be… Many older families that we knew are gone now. But, there is a whole new generation that has moved to Sayville for the schools and the charm of uptown, Main Street and the feeling of sand on your toes!
Internet stores as a competitor for business... Hopefully these young families who are Internet shoppers will find that it is important to connect with a small gift shop and enjoy the personal care that comes with it. We cheer on their life stages, new houses, new babies, new puppies, new jobs... hearing how their family is. You can't get that at a mall or online! If you can't find it in Sayville, then you don't need it!
