A woman robbed a bank in Bayport Monday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, the woman entered M&T Bank located at 903 Montauk Highway at about 1:25 p.m. and passed the teller a note that demanded money. The teller complied with the woman’s demands and gave her cash from the drawer. The woman then fled the bank on foot.
The robber was described as white, between 40 and 45 years old, about 5-foot to 5-foot-2 with dark hair. She was wearing white medical tape around her nose, a dark scarf around her head, black sunglasses, white gloves, a black jacket and a blue patterned skirt.
