5 Teens Injured After Vehicle Crashes In Woods: Cops
At least one teen was seriously injured when a vehicle careened into the woods in Shirley Tuesday, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — Five teens were injured, one seriously, after a vehicle crashed into the woods in Shirley Tuesday, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, Seventh Precinct detectives are investigating the crash on Carlton Drive East at 7:10 p.m.
The driver was a 19-year-old man; the passengers were three 16-year old males, a 14-year-old boy and a 13 year-old-boy, police said.

Reports indicated that two were possibly ejected from the vehicle, but police did not immediately confirm that information.
Five people were transported to area hospitals; one has serious injuries and was airlifted, police said.
