Central Islip Man Pulls Knife, Robs Man Of Cash In Mastic Beach: Cops
He was arrested around a half hour later nearby and charged with first-degree robbery, police said. The victim was uninjured.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man was robbed at knife-point in Mastic Beach on Monday morning, Suffolk police said.
The man waved a small knife at him at a location on Whittier Drive and demanded his wallet before making off with some cash just before 5 a.m., according to police.
Camron Montemarano, 24, of Central Islip, was found and arrested at the nearby intersection of Hawthorne Road and Washington Drive around a half hour later at 5:32 a.m., police said.

The man was not injured.
