Man Shot In Mastic Beach: Cops
The 25-year old is being treated for serious injuries, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A 25-year old man was shot in Mastic Beach Friday afternoon, police said.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that took place at 4:15 p.m.; police responded to Mastic Beach Road after a 911 caller reported shots fired, police said.
The man had been shot a short time earlier and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
