Man Steals Sega Genesis From Family Dollar Store: Cops

MASTIC, NY — A man stole a Sega Genesis from a Mastic store last month, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and find the man who stole the Sega Genesis game system from Family Dollar, located at 1600 Montauk Highway, on Nov. 11 at 1:45 p.m., police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
