UPDATE: Missing Ridge Man Found: Suffolk PD

UPDATE 9:57 p.m.: Barnes has been found.

RIDGE, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in finding a Ridge man who was reported missing earlier this month.

Elijah Barnes, 21, was last seen by a livery cab driver in the Bay Shore area on Jan. 11 at about 4 p.m. and he was reported missing by his family later that day, police said.

Barnes is Black, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and he has heavy scarring on his head and face from a previous burn injury, police said, adding that he has black hair on the back of his head. He was last seen wearing a white windbreaker with blue shoulders, grey sweatpants, and white sneakers, according to police.
