Poem - for all children
Holy Communion
As you receive Our Lord today,
In mind and heart and soul -
Look for the one and perfect way
To reach your eternal goal
And that's to let His simple word,
Guide you day by day -
And treat each other with Brotherly Love,
Before you kneel to pray!
He doesn't just ask for lofty psalms,
That praise Him through and through -
Just "Do unto others...'' dear child of His
"...as you'd have them do to you."
For if you follow this 'Golden Rule'
The Lord Himself did teach -
You will find true happiness,
Is right within your reach.
