Congratulations to David Cabello, Alex Rodriguez, James Rogers and Jillian Unkenholz!

SMITHTOWN, NY - Four Smithtown High School West students – David Cabello, Alex Rodriguez, James Rogers and Jillian Unkenholz – have been recognized as 2018-2019 National Hispanic Scholars.
Each year, the National Hispanic Recognition Program honors more than 7,000 academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT, maintain a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average or higher through junior year and are at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino.
The National Hispanic Recognition Program was initiated in 1983 by the College Board to identify outstanding Hispanic high school students and to share information about these academically well-prepared students with subscribing colleges and universities.
