Influenced
By historical facts and future plans
Filters through my Days.

Reading and Writing
Are two examples of having the sense
To explore the deeper self.

Searching for comprehension
Is an ongoing practice with no end.
I close my eyes and see blank paper.

Electronic paper of today
Escapes scrutiny from the unknowing
And is ignored by those who think they know best.

I fall into the middle.
I know that I don’t comprehend it all.
My attempts are futile and wasted.

Learning from the Past
Helps to explain and avoid more problems
That never seem to be solved.

My knowledge
Of what is right and wrong is very firm.
That is my solace.
