Mystery.
Ah, now that evokes my brain cells to twitch
Wondering what’s next.

A tale with some bite
Leads me down paths with a thick, woolen yarn.
I itch for a good story.

Characters with dark secrets
Have no use for truth and consequences
As they keep silent — until, The End.

Pondering facts as they are given:
If this, then that, or, perhaps, it isn’t
All weave a tantalizing web of intrigue.

A puzzle is created
With a few dead ends and, at least, one corpse.
If there is no body, there’s scandal.

The discovery
Of who brought to life a dastardly deed
Has to make my head quiver.

How clever
To be allowed to be a Detective
That solves Mysteries.
