Flowers Will Spread

A Lady’s Slipper was blooming
With many others in the Woods.
If I counted twenty Slippers,
I was told I could dig one up
For my new Wild Flower Garden.

This Garden isn’t there.
The Violets survived.
They grow in the thick lawn.
I often hear it asked,
“I wonder why they’re here?”
