I Have Flowers
It’s too bad the Lilies won’t last.
I’ll remember their scent for years.
No, not years. They’ll last a Lifetime.
I will always have them with me.
I could say that of ev’rything.
Picking Dandelions
Made my young self happy.
I’d pick a huge bouquet.
The big blooms were fuzzy.
They tickled my soft cheeks.
