Knowing Better

I cannot perceive conquering
The concrete mindsets I’ve endured.
Hate will be around forever.
With all the factual beauty,
I hope I can say I am wrong.

When I first encountered
This discrimination,
I had no defenses.
My Life was turned around.
I was afraid to Be.
