Remembering
Will a lone Ant be welcomed back
As a hero when it returns
To its hill after a long day
Where it found nothing but a crumb?
Will this Ant have a good night’s sleep?
Watching an Ant struggle
Over a harsh terrain
Much like the Pioneers
Who crossed unknown landscapes
Makes me glad for today.
