The Books I Own

Reading will stretch a stymied brain.
Opening a book is not hard.
Understanding is difficult
If one is closed to ideas
Which are presented with panache.

For me, the Library
Was a sanctuary
In which I became lost
In stacks of written Worlds
That I perused with glee.
