Dear Chairman Keuthen:

To touch on what is currently happening in your district. I know I don’t need to tell you the History of The Wildcats. I know I need to tell you that the Wildcats are some of the most stand-up, good people around. They have a wealth of knowledge, not of just Firematic Drilling but Firematics as well. For whatever reason The Wildcats are being denied the opportunity to continue their Firematic Drilling should be looked at very closely. The possibility of your department losing members when membership in the Volunteer Fire Service is at an alltime low, certainly should outweigh the reason for disbanding The Wildcats. I really hope your Fire District does not look at certain individuals on the team but the team as a whole and what it does for comraderie, feeling of belonging to something older than all of us and the glory the team has brought to the St. James Fire Department all these years. In Closing, please don’t disband The St. James Wildcats for it would break my heart to see a team who can not be able to do Firematic Drilling.
