Grace - the Film - Marisa Vitali

On June 7th from 6-9pm, The Northport-East Northport Drug & Alcohol Task Force is pleased to host the Red Carpet Reception and the Northport Film Premiere of the award winning film "GRACE”.

GRACE, a short film, directed and produced by Northport HS graduate Marisa Vitali and filmed in Northport at Tim's Shipwreck Diner, is about the struggle of sobriety the first year of recovery. After the film, Marisa will discuss the film and share her own story of hope and recovery. Additional time will be devoted to Q&A with Marisa and expert panelist Barry Zaks, Director of Huntington Drug and Alcohol.

Tickets sales, raffles and silent auction proceeds will benefit Northport’s community prevention agency, The YDA (Youth Directions & Alternatives). The YDA has served the children of our community for over 40 years with fun sober activities as well as enriching programs. They recently opened another location in our village at 324 Main Street.
