Looking for work? Here is the list of employment events and how to register for them.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — The Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center is set to host a series of virtual employment events throughout October to help residents in their job searches, Executive Steve Bellone announced on Monday.
Job fairs, hiring events and career exploration events are set to be held both in-person and virtually.
"As we continue on our road to recovery, many of our residents are still dealing with financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic," Bellone stated via news release. "Giving job seekers the chance to attend virtual hiring events allows them to search for jobs from the safety and comfort of their own homes, while assisting them in finding a steady paycheck."
