HS Seniors Get Advice On College Application Process
Students and their parents recently got to attend a workshop on applying to colleges at Smithtown High School West.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Smithtown high school seniors and their parents recently had an opportunity to learn more about their futures at "The College Application Process" workshop held on the evening of Sept. 19 at Smithtown High School West, per the school district.
The program outlined the college application procedures and shared helpful hints about applying to college, using Naviance and scholarship information. In addition to this evening guidance program, counselors visited all seniors in their social studies classes.
The presentation was held by Kevin Colon, administrator for guidance and related student services, as well as high school counselors Kate Baker, Sara Safranek and Dorothy Caputo.
