HS Students Approached By Strangers Who Asked For Contact Info
The two students were approached by the passengers of a car who asked them for their contact information.

SMITHTOWN, NY - Two Smithtown High School East students were approached by passengers who asked for their contact information earlier this week, the Smithtown School District announced Thursday.
In a letter to the community, officials stated that the two students were approached on Lake Avenue between Woodlawn Avenue and Route 25 in the afternoon.
The passengers of a late model black Infiniti engaged the students in a conversation and asked for their contact information.

They reported the incident to Suffolk County Police who are currently investigating the situation.
The letter did not include a description of the individuals.
