INDIMUSIC TV PRESENTS: AMERICAN IDOL ALUM LEAH LAURENTI CELEBRATES RELEASE OF HER DEBUT ALBUM WITH CONCERT EVENT ON LONG ISLAND TO BENEFIT WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT

Get there early to watch the red carpet arrivals and listen to interviews with stars of stage and screen such as Schuyler Deale (Billy Joel Band) and Chris Pati (the Founder and Chairman of IndiMusic TV himself) who are scheduled to be in attendance. Corwood Media, in association with IndiMusicTV will also live stream the event.

Leah will be performing many of the original tunes she penned for the album with songwriter Frank Anselmo, including her two most recent singles “Backin’ Down” & “Mistakes” (both of which made the Top Twenty One recently at IndiMusic.tv) alongside a live band that includes long time pro’s John Michelli, Rob DeMartino and others. Opening up the show will be the St James duo The Como Brothers, who have fast been making a name for themselves in the area with their upbeat and catchy tunes.

Admission is $10 and all proceeds will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project, who will also have a representative on hand for the performance.

About Leah Laurenti
Leah Laurenti is a singer /songwriter born and raised in Long Island NY. Leah started singing and writing songs at a very young age. She was always singing around the house with her two older sisters and her younger brother. Growing up Leah’s parents exposed her to many genres of music, theatrical movies, shows and she also attended a gospel church up to the age of 17, where she learned all sorts of gospel hymns and songs. Leah became hooked to soulful, powerful, life changing music! “I love songs with honest lyrics and heartfelt emotion” After high school Leah tried out for Season 9 of one of America’s most popular shows, American Idol. She made it to Hollywood with a “Yes” from all four judges including Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi & guest judge Victoria Beckham. Leah made it to the top 90 out of 125,000 people that season. Even though she was eliminated at group rounds that season Leah did not let that stop her from trying out again. In season 10 she made it to Hollywood once again. In 2013, she was introduced to fellow songwriter, Frank Anselmo. This new original Album is the result of working with Frank and his long time friend, bass player and partner, Schuyler Deale.
