Another Week
I had enough of bullying.
I looked forward to the weekend.
For two days, no one called me names
That would make my brain well with tears.
I pretended I didn’t hear.
An Individual
Will choose one’s own nickname,
If that is what one wants.
I’ll use my initials
To denote my own Self.
Another week
Ends politely.
I have my name
Which is my own
Self-assurance.
