Wherein JWG rests by soaking up thoughts while reading.
I Think I’ll Rest
Relaxing used to be reading
With eager eyes that never closed
Until the final paragraph
Was imbedded and understood
By a Youth whose brain was a sponge.
I’ve come to realize
The wisdom in reading.
I have chosen Authors,
Both good and bad, to have
My horizons enlarged.
I think I’ll rest.
Soaking up thoughts
Will always be
An important
Part of My Life.
