Wherein JWG aspires history will be remembered.
Yesterday’s Woes
Ceremonies declaring Love,
For All who are responsible,
Will be natural happenings.
Will History recall the days
When our innocent Love was scorned?
Today, the difference
Between being dismissed
And being accepted
Is unsurmountable
And has to be addressed.
Yesterday’s woes
Were ridiculed,
Misunderstood,
And cried over.
We had to change.
