Lake Grove Woman Dies of Injuries Suffered in Hit-and-Run Crash
She was standing outside her car with a man who was also killed when a driver plowed into them last week in Medford, police say.

A 58-year-old Lake Grove woman has died from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run crash in Medford last week, Suffolk Police said Saturday.
Lynn May was standing outside of her parked vehicle in front of 228 Granny Road, west of Route 112, at about 8:21 p.m. on Feb. 19 after a 1997 Nissan Maxima driven by 28-year-old Peter Quoma, of Selden, struck her car.
As Quoma and May stood outside their vehicles, a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe heading east on Granny Road struck them and their cars, police said.

Quoma was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, police said. May was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, where she died from her injuries a week later.
The driver of the Hyundai, later identified as 61-year-old Kathy Horan, of Medford, fled the scene, police said.

Horan, who was not injured, was located and arrested at an unspecified location. She is charged with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting involving a fatality and leaving the scene involving serious physical injury.
Horan is free on $150,000 bond and is due back in court on April 4.
