Man Breaks Into Car At Smithtown Home, Steals Wallet

SMITHTOWN, NY - Police are looking for a man who stole a wallet from a car in Smithtown last week.

On May 16, the man (pictured) broke the window of a car parked inside a garage at a home on Stony Hill Path.

He then stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards from inside the car.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
