Please Support the Commack Public Library "I matter" Project!

Your help and support matter! We have until Sept. 30th to turn our children's dream into a reality and we need YOUR help!

We have 13 days left to fund-raise $3,540. Please help us make our goal! www.imatterproject.org/commack

The “I matter” project makes a positive, lasting impact in the lives of Commack’s kids. The Commack Public Library is proud to host the “I matter” community art project. This town-wide Social Impact Art campaign empowers teens by providing a public venue for them to be seen and heard. Students photograph one another and write why they matter in the world. The process inspires self-awareness, empathy and pride. Collections of inspiring faces and stirring words are then displayed in public spaces as a reminder to community members that they too matter. The exhibit will be on display at Commack Public Library beginning Nov. 8th 2014.
To bring this vision to life a team of Commack students has created an on-line Kickstarter fundraising campaign that must be funded by Sept. 30th, 2014. Please support this compelling community project by visitingimatterproject.org/commack because we all matter.
