PODS(R) gives back to Long Island charity

For the 3rd annual Touch-A-Truck event, PODS Moving and Storage will be collecting non-perishable food items for Island Harvest.

For the 3rd annual Touch-A-Truck event, PODS Moving and Storage will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit local charity, Island Harvest. This event offers Long Island families the rare opportunity to get up close to big rigs that are usually off limits to the public with a special “horn-free” hour for children with special needs and sensitive ears.

Island Harvest, is a private non-profit with the largest hunger-relief organization on Long Island. By relying on volunteers, in-kind services, and donated food, they devote more than 95 cents of every dollar contributed directly to their programs.
