Police: Commack Woman Charged in Nassau Burglary
Police say Jamie Culoso left traces of blood throughout a home she burglarized in July.

A 26-year-old Commack woman with a history of breaking into homes to support a heroin habit was arrested on Tuesday after DNA evidence tied her to a July burglary in Hewlett, police said.
According to police, Jamie Culoso entered a home on Franklin Avenue around 9:30 a.m. on July 28 by breaking the glass on a rear kitchen door. Once inside, Culoso stole an undisclosed amount of cash and assorted jewelry, police said.
Culoso, who had cut herself on the door glass, left traces of blood throughout the home, police said.
