Police Release Photo of Man Wanted for Smithtown, Hauppauge Pharmacy Robberies

The robberies occurred last month. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed two Long Island pharmacies last month.

The first robbery occurred at a CVS located at 111 Terry Road in Smithtown around 2 p.m on Nov. 18. Police say the man demanded drugs from the pharmacist.

The same man is believed to have robbed the pharmacy inside the ShopRite located at 335 Nesconset Highway in Hauppauge at about 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 29. He approached the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription narcotics, police say.

The robber is described as white, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a ski mask with sunglasses, a dark-colored sweatshirt and khaki pants during one of the robberies.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
