Police Seeking Trio Who Stole Groceries

Theft occurred at ShopRite last month.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the three people pictured above who are wanted for stealing groceries from a Hauppauge store last month.

Two men and a woman filled a shopping cart with assorted groceries at ShopRite, located at 335 Nesconset Highway, on Aug. 22 at approximately 6:35 p.m. and exited the store without paying, police said.

The female suspect was described as black, approximately 5-foot-7 with a heavy build. One male suspect was described as black, approximately 5-foot-9 with a heavy build and the second male suspect was described as black, approximately 5-foot-7 with a medium build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
