P: What will you miss most about high school?
C: The one thing I will miss most about high school is some of the memories and people I will have to leave behind. Some of my teachers helped me through so much and the fact that I won't be able to see them everyday is a little sad.
P: What are you most looking forward to in moving on to college?
C: I'm looking forward to being more independent and experiencing the real world by myself in college. I was always independent and wanted to do things by myself, so this is the perfect time for me to grow and prosper. Besides academically, I'm looking forward to bringing my horse down to Florida with me! The weather is much better down there for riding all year. So instead of riding in 20 degree weather on Long Island, it will much more bearable in 70 degrees!
P: What was your favorite memory of high school?
C: My favorite memory of high school would be traveling to Peru. I love understanding and learning about different cultures of the world, so traveling to a different country was amazing for me. Mrs, Prim, who was in charge of the trip, kindly let me go even though I was not in her class. It was my love for languages and cultures that allowed me to go.
P: What advice would you give to underclassmen?
C: My advise to underclassmen is to not stress over things too much. If you fail one test, it's okay. It's not that one grade that will make your future. What will is what you do with that grade. Do you hang yourself to better attack the situation or just let it happen again and again? It's all about your actions and approach, not a number. No matter what teachers say, or even parents and friends, a number will not define your life.
P: Any teachers/staff that stood out throughout your journey?
C: There are a few teachers that made high school better for me. I believe a special thanks is in order for each and every one of them. So thank you Prim for always being encouraging and taking me to Peru, Mrs. Corso for always laughing at our ridiculous dialogues, Willman for making gym a class I actually looked forward too and we all know we were the most athletic and your favorite class, and Mrs. Santangelo for being your crazy Disney loving, Ryan Gosling obsessed self. I know you loved our movie and musical.
P: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
C: In ten years from now, I see myself as someone I would be proud to be. Hopefully with a Ph.D in Psychology and extensive understanding of entrepreneur ship, as those are my two majors. Also, With a few more horses then just the one I have now. I rescued my horse and would live to help save some more and give them a better life. In ten years, I want to be happy, living in a house with so many acres I can't see my neighbors. In ten years, I see myself doing anything I dreamed was worth working for.
P: Name a fun fact about yourself.
C: A fun fact about myself is that I'm studying nine languages and have been to over ten countries. I also retrained a racehorse.
