Smithtown High School Scholar-Athlete Recognized
Kyle Zawadzki, a senior at Smithtown High School, has been chosen as a News12 Long Island Scholar Athlete Award recipient.
SMITHTOWN, NY - From Smithtown Central School District: Smithtown High School West senior Kyle Zawadzki has been chosen as a News12 Long Island Scholar Athlete Award recipient and was presented with a $1,000 check. He was selected for the award based on his academic and athletic achievements.
Zawadzki maintains above a 4.0 grade point average and plays lacrosse and football. He will be playing Division I lacrosse for Yale University this fall. Zawadzki was selected to the 2017 All-County lacrosse team and the New York All-State AA football second team for his accomplishments on the football field this past fall.
